Have you ever wished that you had the equipment to play our special way in the privacy of your own home, but do not have space for a full time dungeon? Would you like to be able to be able to take your dungeon with you on your summer vacation? How would you like to turn your vanilla shop equipment and a few candles into a real pleasure spot? This class will answer these questions and more. The class will show you some simple things to build, some common things to transform, and some thoughts about using your existing furniture for a great scene.

The Crucible has reopened. Hooray!!! For many new players, BDSM play in a public setting such as the Crucible or the Playhouse may be their first experience of BDSM play, and can be an overwhelming prospect. How do I hook up with somebody to play with? Will they treat me right, or do I risk a bad experience? Who will help me if I get into trouble? And yikes! Do I have to take my clothes off?
New players, and experienced players with stories to tell and advice to offer, are welcome to join us in this roundtable discussion,

Are you a newcomer who is curious about the real-world (as opposed to online) BDSM Scene, but privacy concerns have deterred you from attending workshops, such as those put on by The Resource Pool, or associating with local BDSM groups?
TESTING THE WATERS, a division of The Resource Pool, has the solution! A number of our experienced and knowledgeable BDSM players, male and female, plus some relative newcomers, will gather for dinner at an excellent local restaurant in the Bethesda, MD area between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM on Saturday, January 7, 2012. They will be happy to answer your questions concerning the local BDSM Scene and "what is this BDSM thing all about, anyway?"
Join us! There is NO ID REQUIREMENT and NO DONATION for this event (we ask that you be at least twenty-one years of age), and you need not have attended any TRP workshops to participate. RSVP to Mister Bill during the week preceding the munch to obtain directions to the restaurant. You will be expected to pay for your own dinner, and (as we will do) to dress and behave inconspicuously in this public venue.
